EOI- The Country Coordinating Mechanism in Nepal: Expression of Interest: To participate in CCMN Member’s election from

People living with or previously living with TB and Malaria, Private Sector and Academic/research Institutions Constituencies

 Date of issue: 1st December,2018

Last date of Submission: 7th December, 2018

The Country Coordinating Mechanism in Nepal (CCMN) was established in recognition of the requirements of the GFATM for such a mechanism, to set priorities for funding, to take decisions on the allocation and utilization of these funds and to oversee progress during implementation.

 CCM Nepal Secretariat invites expression of interest (EOI) from disease networks/organisations /Individual (Tuberculosis and Malaria), associations and enterprises, corporations, Academic/ Research Institutions and professionals to participate in the CCMN member’s election process. Organisations that are applying need to provide documented evidence that they have been working for that specified constituency. The representative for the CCMN, will be elected by the respective constituency. As per CCMN guidelines, the nominee cannot be a part of the Principle Recipient or Sub-Recipient of Global Fund Grants in Nepal. CCM members elected/Nominated will serve for 2 years’ period. The process of election from each constituency will be monitored by CCMN Election Task Team to make it democratic, free and fair

 Preferences

  • Proven track record of active participation within the group/network with access to group / network communication channels

  • Willingness to represent interests of the constituency, and not the interests of themselves or their organizations

  • To be compliant with Global Fund Code of Conduct for CCM members (May 2018)

  • Female are encouraged to participate
