Opportunity !! Two Days workshop on “Participatory Facilitation Training”- National Youth Engagement Network
The NYEN (National Youth Engagement Network) is a joint coordinated effort of three ICS implementing agencies in Nepal; Raleigh International, Restless Development Nepal and VSO in Nepal to outline and direct youth centered program for ICS (International Citizen Service) alumni members alongside the community youths of Nepal.NYEN has been conveying the workshop to the youths of Nepal for the more extensive change and improvement. The asset and aptitudes conveyed through this workshop will empower ICS alumni members and community youths to improve their vocation or potentially look for better employment, completely using their knowledge and innovative thoughts.
This time NYEN will organize two days workshop for “Participatory Facilitation” which will be held at Dining Park Restaurant and Bar, Old Baneshwor on 21st and 22nd of November. Without a doubt, Participatory Facilitation aptitudes can’t be accomplished without dynamic cooperation and important engagement of adolescents in their open life. Since youths have enormous capacity and the willingness to empower communities, such types of workshop upgrades the interest of young people in development and it must take as a higher priority agenda as the existing opportunities for young people in all parts of social, political and monetary life are still constrained in most of the developing countries. The Workshop would like to make and enable youth pioneers who will have the voice and capacity to wind up advocates for social change.
The workshop encourages participant to:
- Develop Participatory facilitation skill
- Develop effective participatory facilitation tools.
- Develop Effective Presentation & Motivation Skill
- Develop knowledge and skill for Mind Mapping
- Paraphrase discussions
Location: Dining park restaurant and lounge bar, Old Baneshwor Kathmandu
Required qualifications & experiences:
- Youth from age 18-35 years who have completed their Higher Secondary Level of Study
- Passionate about being an effective facilitator on your field.
- Comfortable communicating in English and Nepali (both written and spoken).
