ESCMID Postgraduate Technical Workshop, Emerging infections for clinicians and the WHO Emerging Diseases Clinical Assessment and Response Network, Florence, Italy 13 – 15 May 2019
This workshop aims to bridge the gap between advanced diagnostics (such as metagenomics and whole genome sequencing) and clinical practice. The program will include presentation of diagnostic methods and diagnostic strategies, as well as case stories presented by clinicians. The last day is focused on the emergency teams deployed by the WHO in collaboration with the WHO Emerging Diseases Clinical Assessment and Response Network (EDCARN).

ESCMID provides a number of attendance grants for ESCMID «young scientist members». The grant covers the registration fee but not travel or accommodation costs.
